The snow has melted, the sun is shining, all that’s left is for the flowers to bloom and for the birds to starting chirping.
Spring is so close, you can almost taste it. For the start of the new season, I wanted to show you some of my little bits and bobs that I consider apart of my spring routine.
Spring is all about healthy, glossy lips. First, you need to get rid of that crustyness left behind by matte lipsticks and the harsh winter wind.
A lip scrub is an essential for this. Personally, I adore Lush’s products and a clear favourite are their scrubs… no matter the flavour.
You all know I’m a sucker for matte lips, but Spring manages to let me experiment. In the upcoming season, I prefer soft pinks and mauve shades; leaving behind the dark lips that perfectly matched the gloomy winter weather.

Just like our lips, winter has most likely left our skin feeling dry and flakey. If there’s one place I hate to see dry patches, its on my face. Even though, I regularly face mask during the winter, there’s just something calming and springy about enhancing the glow with a nice soothing mask.
Similarly to the lips, I like soft pinks and peaches on the cheeks. One of my favourites being MAC Well Dressed. Don’t forget to freshen up that mani with some light shades … goodbye sexy red nails.
I’m horrible at putting on highlighters, but I can’t help but try. The glowy look is so springs and I find liquid highlighters to look so much more natural than powders.

One of the best ways to spice up a spring outfit is in the details and accessories. Personally, I like to keep jewellery minimal so for me to standout of the crowd, I pop on some sunnies.
QUAY Australia has been my go-to brand for a couple years now and this pair of sunglasses have stolen my heart. The Desi Perkins collaboration is fantastic and hard to come-by. The High Key pair are to die for and looks great on nearly every face shape.
